Terms and Conditions for Educational Institutions
- Eligibility: Colleges must provide accurate and verifiable institutional details, including valid contact information, accreditation status, and registration information. Only authorized representatives may create and manage college accounts.
- Program Listings: Colleges are responsible for ensuring that program descriptions, admission requirements, fees, and other details are accurate, transparent, and comply with educational regulations. Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited.
- Confidentiality: Colleges must treat all student information as confidential and use it solely for admission and communication purposes. Sharing or selling student data to third parties without explicit consent is prohibited.
- Admission Process: Colleges are expected to follow ethical admission practices and provide fair evaluation for all applicants. Edxplor is not responsible for disputes arising between colleges and students post-admission.
- Payment Terms (If Applicable): Fees for services such as premium listings or enhanced visibility must be paid in full as per the agreed terms. Edxplor reserves the right to withhold services for non-payment.
- Content Accuracy: Colleges are responsible for maintaining up-to-date information about their programs, facilities, faculty, fees, and admission requirements. Outdated or inaccurate information must be promptly updated.
- Prohibited Practices: Colleges may not use Edxplor for purposes other than student recruitment (e.g., advertising unrelated services). Listings that promote unaccredited programs or make false promises about employment outcomes are not allowed.
- Dispute Resolution: Colleges must notify Edxplor in writing regarding any issues with the platform or services. Disputes will be handled as per the governing law.
Terms and Conditions for Students
- Eligibility: Students must provide accurate personal and academic information, including valid identification and contact details. Misrepresentation or falsification of qualifications is strictly prohibited.
- Program Applications: Applications should be tailored to the listed program requirements. Submitting multiple applications with inconsistent information may result in account suspension.
- Data Privacy: Edxplor will protect your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, but users must also safeguard their login credentials. Sharing another individual's information without consent is not permitted.
- Conduct: Students must engage respectfully with educational institutions and Edxplor representatives. Fraudulent activities, such as providing fake academic records or certifications, are strictly prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities.
- Disclaimer: Edxplor acts as a platform to connect students with educational institutions and does not guarantee admission or scholarships. All admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions.
- Acceptance of Offers: Students are responsible for understanding the terms of any admission offer before accepting. Edxplor is not liable for discrepancies between college representations and actual program details or experiences.
- Third-Party Information: While Edxplor strives to provide accurate information, students should verify critical details such as program accreditation, fees, and admission requirements directly with the educational institutions.
- Prohibited Practices: Students may not use Edxplor for activities unrelated to educational searches (e.g., soliciting personal services or selling products).
Mutual Terms for Educational Institutions and Students
- Platform Usage: Both colleges and students are responsible for using the platform ethically and adhering to applicable education laws and regulations.
- Communication: All communications through Edxplor should be professional, respectful, and related to educational purposes. Harassment, spam, or inappropriate content is prohibited.
- Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and must promptly report any unauthorized access or security concerns.
- Dispute Resolution: Edxplor does not mediate disputes between colleges and students but may assist in addressing issues arising from platform misuse.
- Service Availability: Edxplor strives to maintain uninterrupted access but is not liable for technical issues, maintenance downtimes, or unforeseen interruptions.
- Content Ownership: Edxplor retains ownership of all platform content and intellectual property. Users retain ownership of their submitted content but grant Edxplor a license to display and use such content on the platform.
- Modifications to Terms: Edxplor reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes.
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kathmandu.
